Bryan Anderson is Vice-President of Government Relations for HCA’s National Group, which includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California and Alaska. In his role, he provides executive strategy for state and federal legislative relations, public policy, political and charitable giving and external communication. From 1996 to 2003 he serves as Director of Government Relations for the Eastern Group at the company’s corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Anderson is a native of Ocala, FL, and a graduate of Troy University with bachelor degrees in Political Science and Communication. In addition, he holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Auburn University. Mr. Anderson’s professional and civic affiliations include membership on the Board of Directors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Associated Industries of Florida (Vice-Chair), Florida TaxWatch and the Step Up for Students Scholarship program.

In January of 2009, Mr. Anderson was appointed by Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, Alex Sink, to serve on the Birth Related Neurological Injury Compensation Association (NICA) Board of Directors. He was appointed to a second term in January of 2012 by state CFO Jeff Atwater.
He and his wife Lainie reside in Tallahassee with their three children, Reagan, Courtney and Zachary.
