Lila Jaber is a shareholder and leader of the Government Affairs practice, Gunster, LLC. She joined the firm in 2010. Twice appointed to the Florida’s Public Service Commission (PSC) by Governor Jeb Bush, MS. Jaber served as both Commissioner and Chairman. Today, her public and civic service continues as a board member of Leadership Florida. Ms. Jaber provides strategic advice and counsel on a number of issues including utility-related matters, such as rate case development and negotiations, as well as company to company business opportunities. Ms. Jaber also advises clients on issues before the Florida Attorney General’s Office, the Florida Legislature, and the Office of the Governor.

Lila Jaber grew up in small business. Today, she is the co-owner of two Tallahassee small businesses: Heels & Handbags and Cigars of Tally.

In 1988, Ms. Jaber received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Stetson University. She would later receive her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University-College of Law in 1990.
